How to get involved
The fastest way to volunteer is to email anzacivic@gmail.com with your name, contact info, and what you'd like to help with. A board member will follow up.
You can also show up to any monthly board meeting (see the calendar) and introduce yourself — public welcome.
What we need help with
- Park work days — quarterly clean-up, brush clearing, painting, light maintenance.
- Anza Days — set-up the day before, parade marshalling, vendor check-in, food booth, tear-down.
- Schoolhouse upkeep — interior cleaning, light fixture maintenance, decorative care.
- Event support — opening/closing the schoolhouse for rentals, walk-through with renters.
- Board service — there is currently a vacant Director seat on the 2026 board. Interested? Reach out.
Liability & safety
For any volunteer activity involving tools, climbing, or driving, ACIL asks volunteers to sign a basic liability waiver before participating. We'll provide the form on-site. Anza Days and routine work days typically don't require waivers in advance.
Donor / volunteer receipt
If you've donated time, money, or materials and need a receipt for tax purposes, you can use our standard form:
