Rental Policies
Park / Little Red Schoolhouse / Guidelines

Rentals are not confirmed or finalized until all paperwork and fees have been received.

**As of April 2018, the Board of Directors has approved the following change
to the rental policy for the Little Red Schoolhouse and Minor Park:

Active members of ACIL will receive a credit of their entire membership fee
towards the regular rental fee of the Schoolhouse and/or the Park!

Little Red Schoolhouse or Minor Park - Terms & Rules of Use

  • Renter shall dispose of all trash accumulated during their usage.
  • Renter shall leave the restrooms in a clean state. Gate valves are located on the exterior of each restroom. It is the responsibility of the Renter to open the valves when the event starts and to close the valves after the event.
  • Renter may move furnishings (tables/chairs/desks) to accommodate their event; however, all furnishings are to be reasonably returned to their original location. Brooms are located within the schoolhouse for your convenience.  Please sweep clean after your event and turn off all circuit breakers except the one marked “wi-fi”.
  • A refundable security deposit shall be required with all reservations. Any and all costs of clean-up, damage, lost or unreturned keys, broken lights, etc incurred by ACIL as a result of the event shall be withheld from the deposit. Extraordinary expenses due to damages or negligence will be invoiced separately and will be due and payable upon receipt.
  • The Wi-Fi Hotspot is provided free of charge. No password is required.
  • Renters may be required to provide proof of liability insurance with a minimum of $1,000,000 coverage with “Anza Civic Improvement League (ACIL), 56481 Highway 371, Anza CA 92539” indicated as the “additional insured”. Please contact us at anzacivic@gmail.com if you would like to receive a referral to insurance companies that may be able to provide this type of coverage.
  • The above signed understands and acknowledges they are using the premises at their own risk, and agrees not to sue and to indemnify, defend and hold Anza Civic Improvement League and all of their officers, directors and volunteers harmless against any and all losses, liabilities, damages, costs or other expenses or claims or counterclaims of third party persons, beneficiaries or entities arising from our use of the facilities at Minor Park. This agreement is governed by the substantive laws of California. Any action relating to this agreement must be brought in federal or state court in California. Each party waives its right to jury trial for any dispute relating to this agreement.
  • Park renters expecting more than 75 guests shall provide a sufficient number of portable toilets.
  • All park renters with vendors shall reimburse ACIL $10 per vendor requesting use of electricity. Renter shall notify ACIL of electricity requirements at least 14 days in advance of the event so we can accommodate for 120V or 220V, and assist with placement of such vendors within the park.
  • Park rental is usually from dawn to dusk. If you require interior band shell lighting, or event is extended after sunset or held after dark, exterior lighting must be coordinated with ACIL.
  • Renter(s), vendors, and their employees are responsible for complying with any and all applicable state and/or county laws and requirements.
